American by birth and American till death. If you love something, you fight for it, you protect it. Whether you're a relentlessly patriotic American or an American patriot fighting in our armed forces, you fight for whom and what you love. Our American forefathers defended their right to call America their home during the Revolutionary War. "Don't Tread On Me" became their motto and battle cry as they sought to build the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Back then, early Americans fought for and under 13 stars and 13 Colonies. Today, Americans fight for and under 50 stars and 50 United States. Yet, we never forget where we came from or the sacrifices that patriotic Americans and veterans everywhere, throughout time, have made to safeguard our freedom.
Patriotic American by birth, I have learned to love and appreciate this land. 'Til death, I will fight to defend it.
